Questions

Frequently Asked

Do you travel to the boat or brewery, or do I have to bring it to you?

Both. We have a fully mobile rig for onsite work — slipside, in the yard, or on the brew deck — and a shop for fabrication and bench work. Most repairs are done where the equipment lives.

Are your welds certified?

Yes. We are AWS-certified and qualified to ASME procedures relevant to the work we do. For sanitary brewery piping we weld to 3-A and ASME BPE standards. Documentation is available on request.

How quickly can you respond to an emergency?

For downtime-critical breakdowns — a leaking glycol line during a brew, a hull issue before a haul-out — we'll do everything we can to be onsite same-day. Call directly for emergencies.

What materials do you work with?

Aluminum, stainless (304/316), carbon steel, and copper. TIG, MIG, and stick processes. If you have an unusual alloy or a special spec, ask — we'll tell you straight if it's outside our wheelhouse.

Do you do small jobs, or only big projects?

We take both. A single rail repair and a full brewhouse install both get the same approach: show up prepared, do the weld right, leave the work clean.
